Shaun Fensom trained as an engineer and has over 30 years’ experience in computing and the internet.

Shaun now works in and with organisations developing digital sector business and infrastructure:

Shaun co-founded Poptel, the pioneering on-line services provider that became one of the UK’s first ISPs and went on to launch the .coop top level internet domain.

Shaun writes and gives talks on related issues, including the impact of networks and the links between cooperatives and the net.

Shaun chairs the steering group for the annual Big Chip awards.

Shaun is also involved with a number of co-operative and campaigning organisations including Ethical Consumer, and the Save Our Bank campaign.
